Frösunda Church

Frösunda Church is a medieval stone church built in the 1400s, located in Frösunda parish, approximately 14 km northeast of Vallentuna center. The church, which belongs to Vallentuna parish, contains intriguing relics of centuries past, such as a dopfunt likely made in northern Uppland in the late 1100s, an altar built in the 1400s, and a pulpit made in 1759. The church also features four tiled vaults and a vapenhus with sandstone corner notches and tiled decorative blind niches. The current organ was built in 1988, and the altarskåp was conserved in 1977.
