Church of Santa María de la Expectación, Peñaflor de Hornija

The Church of Santa María de la Expectación in Peñaflor de Hornija, province of Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain, is a testament to the region's remarkable history. Although it dates back to the 13th century, it has undergone renovations in the 17th and 18th centuries. The southern facade, with a wooden porch supported by six columns, retains elements of its 16th-century structure, although no claims can be made about the current state of preservation. Constructed in 1678, the current portico was overseen by Juan Fernández de Serdio.
