Chun Castle is a large Iron Age hill fort near Penzance in Cornwall. Built about 2,500 years ago, it is strategically located to overlook much of the Celtic Sea to the north, and the only land route to this peninsula (West Penwith) to the south. The fort may have been built to protect tin and copper gathered in the tin-rich locality nearby.
