Ruined 12th-13th Century Chapel of St Michael in Spain

Built in the Romanesque rural style, the Chapel of St Michael is a single-storey building with a semi-circular apse, standing above the town of Sacramenia, Spain. Its exact century of construction is not specified in historical records, although there is a tentative proposal suggesting that a church might have been founded on the same site in the 10th century. The chapel is characterized by columns with both historiated and vegetal ornamented capitals. It was declared a monumental historical-artistic asset in 1983, and it forms part of the cultural heritage of Segovia province.
