The no-longer church of San Miguel de Mazarreros is located near a field of wheat. The impressive structure, in a state of peril, has no dramatic history or fancy gothic details. Instead, it stands alone, silently surveying the fields and the Brullés river, a testament to what was perhaps a place of worship centuries ago.
