Iglesia de San Esteban, a Gothic marvel in Los Balbases, Burgos, Spain, was constructed in the 13th century. Images of Cristo crucificado, la Dolorosa and San Juan form a Gothic Calvary inside the church. A 13th-century Cristo Yacente is also visible.

Various retablos from the 17th and 18th centuries can be found inside the church. The ancient sacristy, adorned with a 18th-century aguamanil, was crafted by artists Hernaltes and Peña. The sacristy is richly decorated. A cajonería, sillería and armario-ropero, made of walnut and cherry wood, can be found in the sacristy. Part of the Parish Museum is located inside the church.
