Kronovall Castle carries the history of a 17th-century castle: a purchase by a Danish councilor in the early 17th-century, a sale to a Swedish nobleman in 1668. The main building, standing today with its two floors, was built in 1760. However, in 1896, the castle underwent a significant change when it was rebuilt in French Baroque style. Today, visitors can stay in one of its rooms, dine in its restaurant, hold an event in its conference rooms, or just walk around and savor the historic charm. Kronovall Castle, in Tomelilla Municipality, Scania, Sweden, is a surprising example of an 18th-century castle turned into a modern venue.
