Castello di Casteldoria, also known as Castello dei Doria di Santa Maria Coghinas, is a medieval fortified structure with a complex history. Located in the historic Anglona region, Sardinia, it was built around the 12th century by Guglielmo III di Narbona. The castle played a role in numerous political and military events of Sardinia, including the battles between Genoa and Pisa, the Aragon dynasty, and the war among the Judicates of Sardinia. It was known to change hands yet remains a symbol of the region's rich history. Today, the castle remains partially preserved, with some walls and a chapel still intact. Its most notable feature is the Doria tower, an impressive pentagonal structure.
