La Atalaya, located in the Spanish municipality of Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma, is situated on a hill where the Celtibero-Roman city of Uxama was situated. La Atalaya sits on a Roman house, known as the Casa de la Atalaya. The structure of La Atalaya consists of a circular plan and cilindrical height. It has a murus anular exterior, whose function is unclear. The materials used for La Atalaya consist of Roman construction materials, including large blocks of cement and smaller stones. The blocks of La Atalaya are placed like sillars.
