Ponte da Ajuda, also known as the Bridge of Ajuda, is a historic monument located near Olivenca, Portugal. Constructed between 1510 and 1521 by Diogo de Arms, it played a vital role during the war between Portugal and Spain. Ponte da Ajuda, with its 8 arches, is 453 meters long and 5 meters wide. Today, the bridge stands in a state of ruin, surrounded by wild vegetation, but it remains an essential historical landmark.
