The Antiguo Consulado del Mar is a Baroque Classical building located in the Plaza de la Constitución in Málaga, Spain. Built in 1785, its façade is made of marbles and showcases the medallion with the motto 'Socorre al diligente. Niega al perezoso.' The building was initially home to the Montepío de Socorro a los Cosecheros, but from 1856 it has served as the seat of the Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País and its important library. Today, it is a Monumento Histórico Nacional and a testament to the 18th-century architecture of Málaga.
