Egon Moller-Nielsen, born in 1915, was a Danish-Swedish architect and sculptor. He was known for his abstract sculptures in a surreal style which can be found in several Swedish sites. The sculpture 'Egg' or 'The Easter Egg', created by Moller-Nielsen in 1951, is one of his lekskulptur artwork. There are three examples of 'The Easter Egg': in Kungsparken, Göteborg; Fagerlidsparken, Stockholm; and Tessinparken, Stockholm. The sculpture is the second lekskulptur by Egon Moller-Nielsen.
