17th Century Life at Älvros Farmstead, Skansen: The Farmstead of a 17th-century

In the 17th century, Älvros Farmstead in South-eastern Härjedalen was a bustling community at Skansen, Stockholm’s open-air museum. The farmstead, relocated from Röjdegården farm, housed a farmhouse built in 1822, which was used for housing livestock such as cattle, horses, and other animals. The farmstead was situated on approximately nine acres of farmed land and twenty-seven acres of meadows.
