The Sagrado Corazón de Jesús statue, a gift from the citizens of San Sebastian,

The Seminario Conciliar Diocesano de San Sebastián y Santo Tomás de Aquino is a center for the formation of priests for the Diocese of Málaga. The statue of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús was originally created to honor the vision of some nuns from the city of San Sebastian, after which the citizens of the city gifted the statue to the church. The statue was created by Ramón Díaz González. It was originally installed over the church on July 22, 1939, following its restoration after the end of the Spanish Civil War.
