Unhidden mysteries of Ingibiorg's memorial stone in Taby

In Fällbro bro in Taby municipality, Uppland, you’ll find Runinskrift U 146, a rune stone erected in memory of two individuals: Holmstæin and Torsten. Holmstæin was a man, while Torsten was his son. The stone was carved and a bridge built under the patronage of Ingibiorg, a woman of uncertain identity. Despite its simple appearance, U 146 shares similarities with U 214, another stone in Uppland, in both form and rune types.
