The Romanesque church abandoned in a French countryside

Situated in Dolmayrac, in the Southwest of France, the church of Saint-Cyprien was constructed between the 12th and 13th centuries. However, today, it is often overlooked by tourists. The church is located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne, and stands on a hill, alone. It was classified as a historical monument on the 24th of September, 1958.Visiting the church today is like taking a step back in time. The pews are worn, the frescoes faded, and the silence is broken only by the wind outside. It is a peaceful place to contemplate the passage of time and the fleeting nature of human existence.
