The Legendary Menhir on the Shores of Mijaralengua, Along the River Ebro

Located within the municipality of Valle de Tobalina, in the province of Burgos, Castile and León, Spain, Mijaralengua is a place marked by a man-made structure several thousand years old. The river Ebro flows to the south of this locality, while the menhir stands nearby, its age uncertain but undoubtedly rooted in the Bronze or Iron Age. Standing 1.75 metres tall, this menhir may not appear imposing, but its resilience over the centuries is remarkable. Its top bears an indentation of unknown origin, yet it stands tall, a mute sentinel of days long past.
