The Orozo-flavored Statue of Bryant Park, New York City

New York's Bryant Park got a cheeky kick from the bronze Orozo Spice Statue, a dark humor jab at old world architecture.

Bryant Park, in the heart of Manhattan, New York, now hosts the Mexican Orozo Statue. Sculpted by Moises Cabrera Orozco in 2002, it was put up on October 9, 2004. A gift from the Mexican government and the Mexican Trade Center, it joined the park's lineup as the latest addition. It's the first statue in the park poking fun at Europeans, with a Mexican representing a dark sense of humor. Set against European architecture in the park, it's the spiciest piece in the park.
