The Masia Ribas in the small town of Premià de Mar, Spain, is a local cultural heritage asset, built in the 19th century. It originally spanned 12 hectares and has been a family home for five generations. The house was first inhabited by Caterina Steva i Casas, who married Antoni Ribas i Jordà, a fabricant of stamped mocadors. Their daughter Gertrudis Ribas i Esteva married Francesc Folch i Ribas, another fabricant, and they all lived together in the grand house.
The house underwent a rebuild in 1881, surrounded by fruit trees as an estate. When Caterina Steva passed away in 1898, the house was passed to her daughter Maria Dolors Folch i Ribas, who was married to Antoni Vidal i Serra. After Maria's death in 1947, the house was passed down to their children, the Vidal and Folch families. Today, the house is owned by the Vidal-Folch and Balanzó families who own the surrounding neighborhood as well.
