Pazo de Liñares - Whispers from a Galician Taboada Legacy

Cursed be the Taboada family, for what unspeakable secret led them to forfeit the Pazo de Liñares? A spine-tingling tale from the foggy lands of Galicia.

Nestled within the Lalín district of Galicia, the Pazo de Liñares - a 17th-century manor - stands tall, a creation of Álvaro Núñez Taboada, a noble from the House of Bendoiro. For centuries, the Taboadas ruled this magnificent structure, but the story of their relinquishment remains enveloped in enigma. On September 23, 1895, Joaquín Loriga, a pioneer of aviation, was born within its walls. Today, ruled by the Council of Lalín, the Pazo de Liñares stands as a Cultural Asset of Interest - a Monument.

Covering 800 square meters, it showcases a lavish baroque mansion sporting a rectangular layout. Its ornate main facade is adorned with balconies and windows, while at the rear, a gallery showcases Gothic-style arches. Its coat of arms, proudly displayed on the pazo, reveals the connexion of the Mosqueira, Churruchaos, López de Lemos, and Taboada - it seems that this house harbors a few secrets worth uncovering.
