Portada del Ingenio is a historic monument in Almeria, Spain, built in 1885. Its architect, Enrique López Rull, and engineer, Eduardo Torroja, created a striking entrance to the once-prominent chemical factory between the neighborhoods of Los Molinos and El Puche. However, the gate served as a prison during the Spanish Civil War, and later under the Francoist dictatorship.
