Tucked away among the houses and streets of Madrigal de las Altas Torres, a small town in Spain, lies a secret: the Convento Agustino de Extramuros. Founded in 1335 by Maria Díez with a privilege from Alfonso XI, it became the Convent of agustinas de 'Santa María de Gracia' in 1438. One century later, in 1525, the Agustinas moved to a different building, ceding the solar to the Augustinas, who moved in in 1528. It once housed the House Capitular of the province of Castilla.
