The stone stands on Runestone Road's eastern side. 'Ofeg had this stone erected in memory of his sisters, Tora and Rodvi.' The name Ofeg, meaning 'one who is destined for a long life', was common during the Viking era. Rodvi is rare and appears only in three runic inscriptions from Gotland, Tora is a short form of names such as Torhild, Torgunn. The runestone remains in its original location along a Viking-era road.
