In the heart of Bari, the vibrant port city of southern Italy, stands a structure defying the ordinary. Palazzo Mincuzzi, as sources suggest, was constructed between 1926 and 1928 by architect Aldo Forcignanò and engineer Gaetano Palmiotto, commissioned by the Mincuzzi family, known for their department store, to house their business. The Mincuzzis, a powerful family in Bari, found their new building, an early 20th-century commercial architecture example, soon became a symbol of power and affluence in Bari. The inauguration ceremony was held on October 28, 1928, attended by local authorities and residents who admired the building's architecture.
