Nestled on the El-Khokha hillock lies TT184, the magical resting place of Nefermenu - an illustrious Egyptian official, Mayor of the illustrious city of Thebes, and Royal Scribe during the grandeur of Ramesses II. Since 1995, the undercover adventures of TT184 have been trusted to Zoltán Fábián - the esteemed leader of the Hungarian Archaeological Mission. The opulent hall of the tomb reveals the name of Nefermenu, while its walls recount scenes from the mystical Book of the Dead, spell 145. Nefermenu and his dear wife Mery(nebu), a songstress of Amun, are immortalized within the tomb. In the inner rooms, several scenes depict Nefermenu in the company of gods, including Horus, Osiris, the divine goddess of the West, and Thoth.
