Situated in the jaw-dropping Grand Teton National Park, it'd be a darn shame to skip Menor's Ferry. Now, winds back to 1892, ol' Bill Menor here saw this place as more than just a wild stretch of the wilderness - he recognized a business opportunity. He settled down here, making Menor's Ferry the sole homestead west of the Snake River, pretty nifty, eh? Here's a fun one, he even fresco'd the walls of his cabin with lime from his brother Holiday's pit, talk about 'upcycling'! Maude Noble took the reins in 1918, and an ice-cream parlor popped up in 1950, dishing out sweetness. But the real cherry on top happened in 1923 when old Horace Albright decided to plant his flag here, commencing the creation process of the Grand Teton National Park.
