French Fossil: The 400-Year-Old Pulse of Questembert Marketplace

Travel back in time to a 17th-century French hamlet: the bustling, centuries-old Questembert Marketplace

The Halles de Questembert, a historical relic from the 17th century (redrawn in 1675 by none other than Etienne Charpantier), is home to one of France's oldest marketplaces. Today, it's a reoccurring pitstop for the town's regional and domestic agricultural commodities, but it's also a thriving stage for local events, such as concerts and artistic exhibits, which granted it the local moniker of 'cathedral'.
