Look out over Grönstaviken towards Bosö's western cape. Here, you can see the renowned film director Mauritz Stiller's house, 'Villa Rutsdal', built in the National Romantic style in 1923. His film studio was located at Läroverksvägen, and many of his films were shot on Lidingö. For example, a sequence in Greta Garbo's breakthrough film 'Gösta Berlings saga' was filmed on Askrikefjärden, near Mauritz Stiller's villa, where the entire film crew was accommodated. Head right to find the hidden staircase that ascends steeply to Stövarstigen. On your left, you'll pass Cyrillus Johansson's villa closely. From Stövarstigen, follow Villebrådsstigen up to Jaktstigen and enjoy the view. Turn left onto Skyttevägen and continue to Bosövägen. Follow this to Bosön.
