El Argar y La Gerundia in Antas, Spain

El Argar y La Gerundia are archaeological sites located in Almería, Spain, declared as a single archaeological zone. The importance of these sites lies in their historical significance: they are considered essential for the research on Prehistoria Reciente of the Iberian Peninsula. El Argar gives its name to a significant culture of the Bronze Age in Europe. La Gerundia is an settlement of the Neolithic final with a phase of transition towards the Calcolithic.
