The Time-Travel Palace: Casas del Tratado de Tordesillas

Perched above the tranquil Spanish town of Tordesillas, Casas del Tratado de Tordesillas houses two historic palaces. The oldest palace, constructed at the end of the 15th century, served as the venue for the Treaty of Tordesillas negotiations. On June 7, 1494, outside the buildings, the Treaty was signed. The ancient emblem of the Catholic Monarchs remains proudly displayed within the oldest palace. Moving to the 17th-century dwelling, once a wealthy family's home, offers an opportunity to marvel at some of the most intriguing collections of royal art and furniture.
