In the sleepy town of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, you'll stumble upon the Mineral Springs Waterworks. This 1930s steel elevated water tower is as intriguing as it is historic. The Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Company and the Public Works Administration joined forces to erect it in 1936, with the goal of improving the town's water supply. They filled this notable structure with water sourced from a nearby well, eventually granting it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. Even though another well was drilled nearby in 1985, the original water tower remains standing tall, playing a pivotal role in Arkansas's historical charm and postcard-perfect views.
