The Champ des Tombes, situated in Saint-Broladre, Ille-et-Vilaine, France, is an ancient megalithic construction that dates back to prehistoric times. Although classified as a historical monument, it was dismantled in 1977 due to the expansion of a nearby quarry. It was successfully rebuilt in 1998, thanks to the efforts of Jean L’Helgouarch. According to Jean L’Helgouarch, the site might be the ruins of a megalithic enclosure or the sepulchral chamber of a dolmen. It is important to note that the Champ des Tombes originally had 8 stones. However, one was broken and another disappeared. This enigmatic site continues to attract visitors in search of understanding its true purpose, despite the nearby quarry’s expansion.
