The 'Road' is a Holocaust memorial situated on Raoul Wallenberg's Square at Nybroplan in Stockholm. Designed by Gabriel Herdevall and Aleksander Wolodarski, it was unveiled on June 14, 2006. The memorial consists of a rail track, lined with railway ties and paving stones from the Budapest ghetto, and a round granite block displaying text in 24 languages. The rail track navigates from the monument, directed towards Raoul Wallenberg on Raoul Wallenberg's Square, taking a corner in Berzeli Park, where the granite block rests in the park's opening. The text on the granite block was produced in collaboration with Per Ahlmark. It's a haunting testament to the perilous paths the victims were forced to take, leaving behind the horrors of the ghetto.
