The Vapnö runestone in the park at Vapnö castle in Halland, Sweden stands 73 cm high, 36 cm wide, and 36 cm thick. Its unique feature is the double runic band that encircles its edges, boasting large runes (7-13 cm). After damage, the runic bands were damaged, with the top being almost completely removed and a large iron cradle (25 cm from the top) remaining in the center. Repainted and freshened up in 2017, the Vapnö runestone was reclassified as a Viking Age artifact. The inscription on the Vapnö runestone contains a Christian prayer, but the beginning of the inscription is missing due to the damaged state of the runes.
