The Grizzled Guide of Florida Shore: Anclote Keys Light

Erected in 1887, this salt-crusted old timer of a lighthouse stands like an old sea dog, guarding Florida's riveting coastline. But only the burliest boats can dock here, after an unfortunate tango in 1984.

Originally automated in 1852, this old sea salty has gone through some transformations. He hummed along for a bit, but had to call it a day in 1984 following some high-spirited company. Now, he stands alone, the spectral storyteller of yore, sharing tall tales with the audacious souls who dare to set sail beyond the horizon.
