A rune stone etched by two nearly unreadable brothers: Södermanlands rune stone

The Södermanlands rune stone 79, located in Hällbybrunn, Torshälla parish, and Eskilstuna municipality in Södermanland, is a Viking Age runestone. The carving spans two times 3.8 meters and is 3.5 meters high. The inscription, 210 cm by 195 cm, faces southwest and covers a surface area of 277 square cm. The runes are 11-14 cm tall, heavily weathered and difficult to read. The inscription reads: [.Biorn ok. r[ist]u(?) at faður sinn Staebjarn(?) ok at diarf(?) broður sinn(?).]
