Situated on a raised plateau on the right bank of the Muga river, the Castell de Molins, a Cultural asset of National Interest, is a Romanic building. Initially, the castle had a rectangular tower at its heart. However, a circular tower was added later on, possibly during the 12th century, when the castle was still actively in use. This circular tower is found on the western side of the walls, with only a part of it well-preserved.
