Boston's Bronze Chum: The Strippery Laddie and Bird Fella

Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Boston Common, we've got a hilarious spectacle for ya – a fella bare as a newborn baby, holding a feathered friend, all dressed up in shiny brass. Turn down the lights, we're paintin' a whimsical picture of this wacky gem.

Standing short at 1.5 feet, the Boston's Public Garden's character, The Boy with Bird Fountain, stands tall and proud. Cast in bronze all the way back in 1934, this boy and his bird pal had a couple facelifts in 1977 and 1993. Our buck-naked lad keeps things modest when the water's not flowing. Such a charmer, he was even selected for the Smithsonian Institution's 'Save Outdoor Sculpture!' program in 1993, extending his curtain call.
