A miniature 1900 historical manor transformed into a police station

Castillito de Los Dolores, a miniature manor in Cartagena, Spain, was built in 1900 by Tomás Rico Valarino for Pedro Conesa Calderón's granddaughter, Antonia Calín Conesa. Similar to northern European and colonial villa architecture, the manor was vacant after Antonia Calín lived there for a brief period following her marriage in 1903. The property was sold to a construction company in 1988, but was later donated to the Ayuntamiento de Cartagena (the city council) and transformed into a public park in 2001. Eventually, in 2001, it was renovated to serve as a local police station. Today, it serves as a cultural heritage site, although its history remains somewhat unclear.
