The Monumento ai Bersaglieri, gracing Largo Bersaglieri, Milan, is a creation of the sculptor Mario Robaudi, gifted to the Milanese by the National Association of Bersaglieri on the 23rd of September, 1973. The monument, adorned with figures of Bersaglieri soldiers in formation and uniforms, bears bronze plaques inscribed with the artist's name. Among these elements, a bronze family group is stationed atop a round stone base, symbolizing the unique bond between soldiers and their kin. The identity of this family, noticeably absent from the monument's lore, might be what piques the curiosity of visitors. However, the symbolic representation is undeniably captivating.
