The Font del Governador is a neoclassical work that is protected as a Bé Cultural d'Interès Local in Lleida. Featuring advancing pillars topped with an ecliptic-style fronton, the font displays the city's emblem. At the base, there is a trough that collects water from a gargoyle in the shape of an animal's head. This font was donated to the city by the Governor Marquess of Blondel in the 18th century.
