The Imes Bridge is a wooden covered bridge in Madison County, Iowa. Built in 1870, it was originally located over the Middle River. In 1887, the bridge was moved to a spot over Clinton Creek, and in 1977, it was moved again to its present site.
Today, the bridge spans a ravine south of County Road G50, near Saint Charles. It measures 81 feet (25 meters) long and stands as the oldest of the remaining covered bridges in Madison County.
In 1997, the structure underwent a renovation for a cost of $31,807. It remains a historic landmark, documented by the Historic American Engineering Record.
