Echevarri y Chacón's 18th-century palace: the current residence of the Chamber

The Palacio de Villalcázar, built in the 18th century, is a historical building in the heart of Málaga, Spain. Known for its marble columns in the patio, stone portico, balcony, watchtower, and remnants of geometric paintings on its exterior, the Palacio de Villalcázar is now the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Málaga. It was initially the residence of the first Counts of Buenavista. However, it was surpassed by the Palacio de Buenavista, now the Museum Picasso in Málaga. Notably, the Palacio de Villalcázar is named after José María Echevarri y Chacón, who was the 8th Count of Villalcázar de Sirga, a title that differs from the one he is often referred to.
