Palacio de los Marqueses de Bertemati

The **Palacio de los Marqueses de Bertemati** is a historical edifice in [Jerez de la Frontera](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerez_de_la_Frontera) in [Andalusia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andalusia), Spain. It is a **Baroque** building, which, like many manors, was likely built close to a water source to facilitate irrigation and transportation. Constructed by the Sopranis-Davila family in the 18th century, the palace was later bought by Jose Bertemati, a successful retailer in the 19th century, who transformed it into a **neoclassic** structure. Initially, the palace was divided into two buildings, with the smaller one going through various owners and being transformed into an eclectic house with French influences.
