The Casa de Los Penalva Serrano, constructed in 1906, rises defiantly in the townscape of Huéscar. Built by Claudio Penalva Jiménez, it was the masterwork of renowned sculptor Julián Ruiz Alemán. The palace's exterior, designed in the modernist style, is a representative piece of this architecture. Inside, the eclectic historicist style takes the lead. Despite the passage of time, the palace remains a testament to the opulence of Spain's bygone era.
