Nestled in the heart of Baza, Spain – Centro Histórico, we find the Alcazaba de Baza. Constructed on questionable terrain, with a penchant for dampness, it's seemingly been a thorn in the side of its many covetous rulers. Not just any obstructive thorn, but one that, coupled with Málaga, complicated the Castilian conquest. A lengthy siege, stretching for over five months, was a stark reminder of its obstinance. Now, only fragments of its walls and the remains of several towers bear witness to its past glory.
