Gustaf Vasa Church: A Precht-Crafted Baroque Masterpiece in Stockholm

In the heart of Stockholm's Vasastaden district, Gustaf Vasa Church encompasses a towering 60-meter dome. Commissioned for Uppsala Cathedral, a Precht-crafted altarpiece was re-homed here in 1906, after being stored at the Skansen Museum for years. The church organ, designed by Agi Lindegren according to the wishes of composer Otto Olsson, who was also the church organist from 1907 to 1956, now dwells within Gustaf Vasa Church, accommodating up to 1,100 attendees.
