The Château de Masse, nestled in the French countryside, was once a simple grain storage for the Abbaye de Bonneval. However, following the onset of the French Revolution, it underwent a myriad of transformations while managing to avoid the fate of becoming a prison. Yet, beneath its grandiose halls and towering turrets, the castle had a darkly concealed secret: its subterranean sections, designed for storage during monastic times, were repurposed as hidden dungeons during the revolution.
