Butterflies Amid a Tropical Rainforest Experience at Fjärilshuset

Located in Haga Garden, Hagaparken, Solna commune, Fjärilshuset - the 'Butterfly House' - is a journey into a tropical rainforest, boasting a large water system, a permanent coral reef exhibit, and up to 1000 free-flying butterflies. Spanning over 5000 m², the tropical environment is maintained during the day, ensuring the temperature never drops below 25 degrees, while at night it remains at 25 degrees. At Fjärilshuset, the water system nurtures various Amazon fish and includes a dedicated coral reef section. Moreover, the museum houses frogs and turtles, and in 2019, built bee habitats on its grounds to contribute to pollination in the surrounding urban area.
