Olle Olsson Hagalund lived, worked, and died in his house. Now, his art fills it on Museum Weekend. Housed in Olle Olsson-House at the corner of Spetsgatan and Furugatan, the museum is municipally owned and privately run. It is dedicated to the artist, his work, and to the old town of Hagalund, which was demolished in the 1960s to make way for the high-rise district of Blåkulla. Inside, a model of Yttersta Hagalund, created by Kent Fernström in 1968, breathes life into the old town once more. The museum is open to the public during Museum Weekend in May.
